Welcome to the Football Development Centre

The Football Development Centre delivers football coaching for children between the ages of 5 and 13. Emphasis has always been about having fun in a safe and structured environment.

The FDC runs fun based activities concentrating on teaching the fundamentals of the game and the basic skills required to play football. All staff are Football Association and Premier Skills qualified, CRB Police Checked and are trained in Child protection and Treatment of Injury procedures.

We provide Football coaching for all abilities, from the beginner to the more advanced player. We do After School / curriculum sessions and holiday fun weeks where children of all abilities come together to take part in various activities with fun being the main aim.

From after school and fun weeks children may be invited to our Development School; these sessions are available for children wishing to progress their skills further, The Friday Night Development School is open to children from the ages of 5 – 7.

The Saturday morning Development School is the next progression for players (Age 7 – 10) showing the correct enthusiasm and ability. Children from the Friday Development School, teams or other coaching schools may apply or be invited for trials. In addition to the Development School, two Academy groups (Age 8 – 12) are also available for players showing exceptional ability or potential. Children will be invited based on their overall game.
